How long do the procedures take?

Minimally invasive procedures take approximately 30-45 minutes.

Is there any "down time" after the procedures, or do I have to miss work?

No. Since the procedures are performed under local anesthesia, there is no down time.

Do the procedures require anesthesia?

Treatments are performed under local anesthesia in our office.

After the procedures, how quickly can I return to normal activities?

Many patients experience a quick return to normal activities, typically within a few days.

How soon will my symptoms improve after treatment?

Most patients report a noticeable improvement in their symptoms within one to two weeks following treatment.

What can I expect after the procedure?

You will be required to wear a compression stocking following treatment in order to get the best result from the procedures.

Are the procedures suitable for everyone?

Experience has shown that both women and men across a wide range of ages with chronic venous insufficiency can be treated safely with excellent results.

Are the procedures covered by insurance?

Insurance plans typically cover the procedures if you have signs and symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency that is confirmed with ultrasound.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

The Vein Doctors accepts commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare/Medicaid.

What if I can't afford my co-pay/deductible for the procedures?

The Vein Doctors can assist with obtaining Care Credit as well as setting up payment plans.
