The American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine (ABVLM) is currently the only certification in the world that specifically tests the knowledge and experience of a physician in all areas of diagnosis and treatment of vein disease.
Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) certifies the physician as having achieved the highest level of competency in performing vascular ultrasound examinations. Ultrasound is the ONLY method of accurately diagnosing vein disease.
Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certifies the physician as having achieved the highest level of competency in interpreting vascular ultrasound examinations. Ultrasound is the ONLY method of accurately diagnosing vein disease.
